Re: What are you reading at the moment?
It was an interesting read, apart from there being long, boring paragraphs about lepidopterist concerns.

So you succumbed, then? having said that, I have seen my friends Kindles and I was impressed by the ease of reading.

Re: What are you reading at the moment?
I've just spent over a thousand squid at work this week to buy Kindles for reluctant readers. We can change font size, upload MP3, PDF, have it read aloud to the student - all sorts of neat tricks. I also intend to use it for students who are off school long term so they can stay up to date with tasks etc. V.V.Excited!

Re: What are you reading at the moment?
More like I finally talked my hubby into getting me one. We had bought one and loaded it with books for his mum (who is ill at the moment) and he was impressed with it, so when we got a voucher for £10 off he relented and bought me one , and then we bought one for my dad to give my mum aswellLittle John wrote:So you succumbed, then? having said that, I have seen my friends Kindles and I was impressed by the ease of reading.

Re: What are you reading at the moment?
I have seen how you can increase the size of the font so it would be an ideal present for an older person.

yes that is a good function. The thing I am most impressed with though is how quickly the books download on to it
