There's no Planet B!

Post by Little John »

Jeez! I wish I'd thought of that slogan! Seen today on a placard of "striking" students (school children).

"There is no Planet B!" Brilliant!
Yes this is the real "Little John" (or it could be "colin")

Yes, although I am minded to agree with the person who said if they want to protest climate change they should do it in their own time.

Doing it in their own time wouldn't have generated half as much media interest.
Children are like Slinkys - not much use for anything, but it always brings a smile to your face when you throw them down the stairs. Chinchilla

I remember striking in the 70s over something, we did it as a sit in.

I went on the march when our teachers went on strike back in the late 60s. I made a placard that said "I'm only here for the beer" - inspired by an advert for Double Diamond which was popular at the time. It didn't go down well.

There is no story attached to the picture in that link. Lady P thinks it was a Swedish School girl.

The picture appears after a moment. The Swedish girl is the public face of a movement but it’s always important to dig a little deeper.

The article appears for me but I pay for the Herald. I would have thought that it would have let you read one article.
