Arctic Monkeys
.My daughter and her group of friends went to the TRNSMT festival yesterday to see the AM. I watched highlights on tv last night.
Worth a watch if you’re interested in younger folks’ musical tastes.

Living with young people keeps us current. I know that when I stop teaching there is a danger I will lose touch with musical trends.

Looking back, though, punk wasnt all bad. There was some good stuff. Even the sex pistols weren't total rubbish.

Re: Arctic Monkeys
Punk was brilliant, the whole point of pop music, simplicity, youth rebellion, loud noise, brought to an apogee.
