Children are like Slinkys - not much use for anything, but it always brings a smile to your face when you throw them down the stairs. Chinchilla

I thought he was "Nesbit". You learn something every day. He did get a bit above himself, though. Peter Tork was also a talented musician as was Micky Dolenz.
Yes this is the real "Little John" (or it could be "colin")

Yes, but Davey Johns got my teenage heart racing.

I read yesterday that David Bowie had to change his name because Davey Jones was already too well known.

Mickey Dolenz was more actor than musician, Mike was a recognised songwriter/musician (with hits to his name) before the Monkees came along and continued with that career after the Monkees finished, which is why he got his unfair reputation as being uppity as he couldn't make the first Monkees reunion tour due to other, fulltime, musical commitments which he refused to abandon at short notice, he did feature in the following reunions as they were better planned and he always credited his time in the Monkees. Peter Tork never quite shone though.

Michael Nesmith never really needed the money as his mother was so rich.

Snowpake. Talking about white stuff, Francis Rossi's parents owned the famous ice-cream chain.

I hadn’t heard of them. The Scot/Italian families like the Nardinis had the monopoly here. Daniela has had a reasonable acting career.
