Who was the "best" then?

Weismuller?
Ron Ely?
Miles O'Keefe?
the French geezer who was in Greystokes?
Someone else?

the top one as in Johnny Weismuller who was reckoned generally to have been the best .
There was also Gene Pollar who did a version in the twenties .
I quite liked the Greystokes version .
