Re: The "What I dreamt last night" thread
It's not 4 years since my last dream but the one the night before last inspired me to write about it. It wasn't even an unusual dream, topic wise. It was a going back to work, dream and it was the intensity that was special.
I realised I had no idea what was going on or how to do what I was being paid to do and felt a fraud. I knew it was only a matter of time before the boss found out I wasn't actually doing anything and then a I would face the humiliation of being sacked.
Things around me were familiar and I felt that I would have known more about them in the past. I was also aware that I had left work before but for some reason, had gone back to work.
I was trying to reassure myself that things would be alright if I left again but I wasn't convinced. I had a similar dream a couple of weeks ago but I was doing voluntary work for the union and when I ambled in to the office, I
was handed a case folder for a discipline case that had to be done that day. I felt totally unprepared. The member had been sacked for eating some tinned pineapple with a squirt of cream cheese in it. I couldn't think of a defence. Even though I didn't really think it was a stackable offence. Or an offence at all.

Tinned pineapple with cream cheese? At least it wasn’t ham and pineapple on a pizza...

Re: The "What I dreamt last night" thread
Last night was a bit confused. Something to do with organising a very short notice wedding and a big one at that. I had to go somewhere but first had to pick up a bag from my old office. I think I found the bag but as I was leaving the lift, I realised I'd left my coat behind. Then I had the coat but no bag. I had to keep going up and down in the lift not always to the right floor and time was getting short.

I might have taken on the "renewing the visa" anxiety. They are 8n the middle of the process now. Who says that immigrants get it easy or cheap? It's costing a fortune. And as well as paying regular tax and NI, she has to pay a NHS fee of around £2000.

I had a dream that at I was cleaning my teeth the other night. Very vivid and detailed. Never had that before. I wonder if it's common.

Were you using an electric toothbrush or an ordinary one?

Ordinary one. The usual. Looking in the mirror over the sink. I've never understood why I look in the mirror while cleaning my teeth.

If it was an ordinary one then it's definitely common.

Funny this thread should come about today.
For sometime I have been having restless nights tossing and turning. last night I had a humdinger of a nightmare to the point that thankfully my good lady shook me awake, trouble is now I can't remember what it was about.

You probably dreamed that Boris recovered.

Re: The "What I dreamt last night" thread
Prompted by MM's post. Last night it was monkeys. I was walking in a park or something with someone young - possibly one my children but possibly someone elses - when I spotted something in a tree and said "look! here they come!" but in a good way. And all these monkeys came down and started playing about on the grass. Then these kids went up to the monkeys as they might but I warned them that the monkeys were stronger than they looked and they could get hurt.
I say "monkeys" but they were more like small neanderthals.
