Re: Attachments
Here is a .pdf file:
No there isn't, as the .pdf extension isn't allowed.
Let's go look for the extensions that are allowed.

Re: Attachments
So where do you suppose one should look to find out what extensions are allowed?

Re: Attachments
Admin should be able to tell what attachments are allowed, other than that, all you can do is use trial and error.

Hey! Salem!
May I bring this part of the FAQs to the attention of the board administrator:
What attachments are allowed on this board?
Each board administrator can allow or disallow certain attachment types. If you are unsure what is allowed to be uploaded, contact the board administrator for assistance.

Re: Attachments
Only has allow or disallow attachment to the allowed file size limit
file type has to be a hack not available to the default setup which would normally just be gifs and jpeg types

It was hidden in another security area .
which other extention would be wanted and why re. some are considered not secure for forums use , others such as mp3 could have copyright problems .this is now pro hosted
and could end up in bother with above .

Re: Attachments
Ok, but how about .txt files? I don't know if a search engine would pick up on the content which might make it useful as an attachment.
Another possibilities would be .ico if anyone wants help editing one.
And other vid formats like .wav etc.
